The work arises from a series of questions associated with the constant spills of coal in the Caribbean Sea, specifically in the coasts of Santa Marta and Magdalena. It consists of a series of three-dimensional pieces with variable measures made in mineral coal, recreating shells of marine snails, a species at risk due to its high hunting and consumption in the region. Attributing to it a fictitious narrative in which these species have adapted to the constant spills of coal, absorbing its properties and mutating their shells in this mineral.

The established narratives are based on a drifting exercise carried out on the coasts of the city of Santa Marta and its surroundings. Creating parables from elements and situations perceived in these routes.
