Raids
The work is based on a series of myths and beliefs linked to the local fauna and superstitions of the region, in which, through drawing, scenes and compositions are created that allude to popular culture and cinema, contrasting local landscapes, the human figure and a colossal fauna that are presented as the guardians or deities of these ecosystems.
The work consists of a series of drawings of different formats in charcoal and ink that seek to raise awareness through poetry and visual metaphor. About the danger in which the diverse ecosystems of the region are in. From a local approach to global issues, the work takes effect in times of pandemic, due to all the sightings and returns of some species to their habitats due to the reduction of human presence in these environments.
